Behind the Scenes: Jingle Bell Jam 2021
Many hands make light work, even when that work is hauling truckloads of heavy snow across campus. The UVMSSC team worked together each night this week in preparation for the Jingle Bell Jam hosted on Trinity Campus on 12/3/21. Spirits were especially high Tuesday night with excitement building for the big event, now only three days away. Between the good tunes playing and a light snowfall that every skier and snowboarder loves to see, the 4 hours of shoveling snow was a naturally enjoyable time.
The biggest challenge this night was breaking up the large piles of snow, which had turned into ice blocks, but the extra effort this took brought students together and showed a real sense of community. It is safe to say that backs and arms were sore the next day, but members were more than ready to get back to the hard work again with a good attitude. It really does take a team to make these events happen- shout out to everyone who came together and put in the hard work to make the rail jam such a success!
